GROUP CLASSES
Many students are highly motivated by group instruction, consisting of similar ages and levels of abilities, and enjoy the social interaction it provides. After two semesters of group classes, students a re encouraged to progress to individual lessons.
EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS
Where can your child express himself creatively, explore and learn through music and movement? Harmonia School! Imagine That! We foster the development of 3 and 4 year old child’s growing independence and vivid imagination through a unique blend of music, movement, literature and pretend play through group piano, violin, theatre classes and pre-K summer camps.
MUSIC THEORY
Music theory is essential to understanding the structure and form that exists in the pieces that musicians learn and perform. Students will learn in-depth instruction in the areas of ear training, melody, harmony, rhythm, form, and expression. Although parents often believe that theory and musicianship courses are college level studies, the sooner students begin to acquire essential music skills, the better they will be able to understand and appreciate more fully the music they are learning.
CHAMBER MUSIC CLASSES
Get together with other musicians to experience the fun of playing in an ensemble. You can improve your instrumental and listening skills by harmonizing with other musicians. Formed students of similar skill and age.
